The forthcoming National Football League Super Bowl will be more exciting and hotter this year.
American pop superstar Madonna has been tapped to perform at the halftime of the biggest stage in professional football. The Material Girl is set to lend her voice at the halftime of the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
The NFL said the performance of the widely popular singer will highlight the show at the Lucas Oil Stadium on February 5. In the past, the Super Bowl halftime shows had been a blast as it is watched by more than 162 million in the United States.
Last February, the people around the world were glued on their television sets after The Black Eyed Peas’, Slash and Usher performed at the halftime of Super Bowl in Dallas where the Green Bay Packers won the NFL crown the Pittsburgh Steelers. Aside from Madonna other artists who will perform in the event were Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Prince, U2, Paul McCartney, The Who and the Rolling Stones.
The pop superstar is expected to perform hand in hand with a team from Cirque du Soleil, choreographer Jamie King, and artists from Moment Factory. The grand Super Bowl is set to be beamed worldwide by NBC.
